Terms of Service

1. The Fixr service

Fixr is a platform operated by SwiftServe Group Ltd that connects customers with independent, self-employed tradespeople. Fixr is a technology platform, not a trades company. The tradespeople on the platform are self-employed contractors, not Fixr employees.

2. Customer terms

By creating a customer account you agree that:

• Your saved payment card will be charged automatically when you sign off on a completed job
• Cancellation fees apply if you cancel after an engineer has accepted your job
• You will provide accurate address and contact information
• You must be aged 18 or over to create an account

3. Engineer terms

By joining as an engineer you agree that:

• You are self-employed and responsible for your own tax obligations
• You will maintain valid DBS, qualifications and insurance at all times
• Fixr retains 25% of each job value as a platform fee
• You will not solicit customers directly off-platform

4. Limitation of liability

Fixr operates as a marketplace platform. While we vet all engineers, we are not liable for the quality of work carried out. Engineers carry their own public liability insurance which covers any damage caused.

5. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
